July 2nd, 2009 by admin | Filed under Domain Name.

Someone I cannot have any relationship with anymore bought me the for my website. I am an author and there has been plenty of hits now on my website, so I don’t want to it.
Anyone know the process for having the transfered into my from the original purchaser’s?
Any ideas at all on this will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You should get an email with the authorization code from the seller or original registrar of the purchased domain name.
You will need to use that code to accept the transfer. And the seller will have to confirm the transfer on his end to make it faster. Otherwise you typically have a bit of a wait period when transfering between registrars.
You can learn alot from chatting with other domainers live. That’s what I do.. lol I listed my source :)

    Hi,
To change your domain name from one registrar to another is simple thin all you need to do is to get the authorization code from your original registrar then make sure that your domain name is unlocked that is its not locked.Your domain name should be a valid one that is it should not have expired.
Read site to know how and the process of transfering it. http://domainnames.your-inforcom.com/cat…
